  28. On several occasions, my PVR has taken a disliking to a clip when I try to
  29. incorporate it into a playlist. Two or three times, not only has this caused
  30. a total system lockup (even the Reset button won't work) but has also
  31. DELETED the actual clip totally off the PVR drive -- it will be gone when I
  32. reboot the system! If I re-import the same clip, there is generally no
  33. problem with it again. Why all this happens, I'm not sure. If I'm fast
  34. enough getting to the Task List, I can usually shut down the PVR before it
  35. locks up the entire system.

  37. I would suggest building a playlist of two, then three, then four, etc.
  38. clips and seeing which one causes the PVR to crash. Then delete the
  39. offending bugger and re-import it. That may be enough to cure the problem
  40. (also one of the reasons I don't save animations directly to the PVR).
